The idea for Endure Thermal Spa was born out of a personal journey toward resilience and wellness. A few years ago, we visited Thermëa, in Winnipeg, where we first experienced the thermal cycle. The combination of sauna, cold plunge, and restorative relaxation left a lasting impression on both of us. The experience sparked our curiosity and opened our eyes to the profound benefits these practices could offer.
At first, the cold plunge felt like a challenge we weren't sure we could endure, but the immediate sense of invigoration was undeniable. Ethan loves the communal aspect of saunas, where conversation flows easily and a sense of community is fostered. I find a profound sense of balance and renewal in the thermal cycle.
Realizing how limited access to these services was in our own community, we felt inspired to create a space where others could experience the same benefits we discovered. Part of our motivation for starting EndureThermal Spa was not only to share these transformative practices with the Fargo-Moorhead area but also to make them more accessible—for ourselves and for everyone seeking a path to enhanced well-being.
With Endure, we've set out to bring the restorative power of the thermal cycle closer to home. Our goal is to help others step out of their comfort zones, embrace new challenges, and discover their own strength through wellness. We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your session. This allows time to change, enjoy a cup of tea or water, and, if it’s your first visit, take a quick tour of the facility to ensure you’re fully comfortable and ready to begin.
• Sauna/Plunge Sessions: These are 40 minutes, providing ample time to complete multiple rounds of the thermal cycle.
• Just Sauna Sessions: Sessions are 30 minutes. For first-time users, we recommend starting with 10–15 minutes and gradually building up to the full half-hour.
• Lymphatic Roller Sessions: Sessions are available as a 45-minute full session or a 25-minute Express Roll.
• For Sauna Sessions: Wear either a swimsuit or loose, comfortable clothing. These options allow you to relax and fully enjoy the benefits of the sauna. We’ll provide towels for you to sit on during your session for hygiene and comfort.
• For Lymphatic Roller Sessions: Tight-fitting clothing, such as leggings and a fitted top, is ideal to ensure proper contact with the roller. Please tie your hair up before your session for safety and ease.

The cold plunge can seem intimidating at first, but with a few tips, you can ease into the experience and enjoy its incredible benefits:
• Start Slow
Begin with shorter durations, such as 30 seconds to 1 minute. As your body adjusts, you can gradually increase your time. Aim for 2–3 minutes per session once you're comfortable.
• Focus on Your Breathing
Controlled, steady breathing is key to managing the initial shock of the cold. Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly to stay calm and centered.
• Enter Mindfully
Step in slowly and focus on keeping your body relaxed. Avoid tense movements, as they can increase discomfort.
• Set a Goal
Have a clear goal in mind for your first session, whether it’s just to step in or stay for a specific time. Celebrate your progress!
• Listen to Your Body
It’s normal to feel uncomfortable at first, but know your limits. If you feel lightheaded or overly chilled, exit the plunge and warm up gradually.
• Pair with Heat
For the best results, alternate between the cold plunge and the sauna to create a thermal cycle. This combination promotes recovery, circulation, and resilience.
Remember, consistency is key. Over time, your body will adapt, and you’ll begin to notice the physical and mental benefits of the cold plunge. Stay patient and enjoy the journey!
